Aging and Osteoporosis

Baby Boomers know how important staying active is to feeling good. Strong bones are critical to being active.
Osteoporosis, a weakening of bones through loss of calcium, is something we all face as we age. But, you can have a say in how severe your bone loss is. Bone loss takes place over many years and can be asymptomatic for at least 5 years before you notice you have it. Talk with your health provider and ask about Calcium Supplementation and Vitamin D.
For general information about Osteoporosis, you can start be going to www.osteo.org.
